These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the institutional website of Instituto de Neurociências — Prof. Dr. Manuel Laranjeira, available at institutoneurociencias.com (the "Site"), owned and operated by Instituto de Neurociências — Prof. Dr. Manuel Laranjeira, headquartered at Avenida da Boavista 4795, 4100-141 Porto, Portugal ("Instituto de Neurociências", "we").

The Site is intended to publish institutional information about Instituto de Neurociências, its medical specialties, medical team, available exams and treatments, and to facilitate contact and appointment booking by patients.

The information available on the Site is for general informational and institutional purposes only and does not, under any circumstances, constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment prescription. The clinical information published does not replace a medical consultation, an individual assessment by a qualified healthcare professional, nor does it exempt the patient from seeking in-person medical care whenever warranted.

3. Booking appointments and contacts
Appointment requests submitted through the Site, by phone or by email constitute a scheduling request, which is subject to confirmation by the administrative team of Instituto de Neurociências, depending on the availability of healthcare professionals. Submitting a request does not, by itself, guarantee the appointment will be scheduled.
The user undertakes to provide true, complete and up-to-date information in the contact and booking forms available on the Site.
4. Conditions of use
By using the Site, the user undertakes to:
- Make lawful use of the Site, in accordance with the law, these Terms and the rules of good faith;
- Not introduce or spread content, viruses or other devices that may cause damage to the Site, its systems or third parties;

Instituto de Neurociências reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time, without prior notice, with the version in force always being the one published on the Site, indicating the respective update date. 11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of the Site, the court of the Porto district has jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other, except where mandatory legal provisions state otherwise, namely consumer protection rules.
